Hello,
I've found my fault:

\setupcite
   [authoryears]
   [pubsep={, },
  lastpubsep={ und },
  compress=yes,
  inbetween={ (vgl. },
  left={},
  right={)}]

with this you'll get
(vgl. Goldstein 2003)

The only problem left is the use of the [extras={:10}] option in
combination with [authoryears] to include the page number.
