I'm always in "latest mode," I'm a classicist :-)

But just so I can plan ahead (as soon as I have a working mkiv again): in 4 weeks, I will have to write and print my lecture notes every week again; they're written in xml. Compiling with texexec --lua --env=foo bar.xml was broken. Compiling with context --environment=foo bar.xml works, but doesn't give me all the functionality I need, in particular arranging. What is easier, i.e. for what should I pester you more: fixing texexec or adding that functionality to context?
