Reading the first line of your code I assume you are working with MkII.
On my machine your example renders fine – see

I ran your file with ConTeXt ver: 2008.02.07 01:09 MKII.
Using a more recent version on http://live.contextgarden.net/ gives
the same result
(ConTeXt ver: 2009.08.30 12:25 MKII)
