Another question about figures. How to get rid of big spacing between
floating figure caption and surrounding text?
In the following example, I want the spacing between "Figure 1" and the
text below to be twice less.

\placefigure
[inner]
{}
{\externalfigure[cow][width=0.5\textwidth]}
\dorecurse{2}{\input knuth \par}
\stoptext
