That may be the case, but the question is how it got there. Not by running first-setup.sh - I just did a test run into an empty directory, and it's not there.

Protrusion and font expansion are enabled with \setupalign[hanging] and 
\setupalign[hz] (or “align=hanging” and “align=hz” for \framed).

Is \enableprotruding obsolete, then?
