Hi Wim, TL is a huge beast. ConTeXt is still a moving target in terms of development and thus the frozen nature of TL will leave their version of context quite stale.
You can install ConTeXt as a stand-alone on your system, then just run a bat or bash script to update it. This is much easier than dealing with TL I find.
