Dear list, since the topic isn’t specific to MacOSX, I’m starting a new thread.
[I assume that OSFONTDIR won’t be set by default in Linux. I’m fine with that.] I think system fonts should be enabled by default in Win and Mac. I think it is a nice feature to newcomers. Of course, Thomas is fully right in requesting not to be forced to use the system fonts. Being the default the use of system fonts, wouldn’t it be possible to add an argument such as "--disable-osfontdir" to first-setup?
