Greetings,

Please forgive me, as this is my first post to the list.

I'm trying to compile ntop-4.0.1 to a vanilla 2.6.35.14 kernel. (Think
LFS but not quite)

While trying to make install, the system complains about
etter.finger.os being stale.

So after reading, I see that it's preforming 'make dnette'r and that
the link to the file it's trying to get is dead.

Example:

secure (root) /usr/src/202/distrib/build/sources/ntop/ntop-4.0.1 $ make dnetter

End Example:

I have looked at the ethercap area of source-forge and their entire
cvs is gone. apparently for some time.

Is there a alternate source for the file, that I can slap into the
makefile to complete the build, or a switch I can use to ignore it
being stale?
Heck I wasn't even able to access the fingerprint database period!

Warm Regards,
