Thank you fro your fast reply. :)
The p4p1 is an Ethernet port (the 1st p is for "PCI", the other p is for
"port").
May be it fails due to more ports used. Now I restarted ntop only for that
port, so we shall see whether it fails again.

what is interface p4p1? I think that what is happening is that on your
system for some configuration weirdnesses, ntop updates twice the same rrds.
