Hi, Currently ntopng(nDPI) can't tell bb/hobbit/xymon protocol(tcp/1984) and unknown it as unknown app.
Looking from ntopng-1.0.1_6710/nDPI/src/lib/protocols directory, there are many *.c files to detect all kind of protocols from packet level. Do I have to write a xymon.c in order for ntopng to report 1984 as xymon app ? Is there an easier way to map the port into a application ? Ex, a file like /usr/local/share/ntopng/httpdocs/protocol-app.txt with content like followings tcp 1984 xymon tcp 1985 xymon-hearbeat Regards tj -- T.J. Yang
