Hi Tj,

I think the $Revision$ and $Date$ are svn macros that automatically
get updated when the file is checked in. The problem appears to be
that unless ntop_defines.h is modified and checked in then these two
items don't get updated.

Regards,
Steve

    Hi Luca,

    Do you know why the revision number in ntop_defines.h is
    not updated with new revisions?

    I just updated to: At revision 6725.
    but the revision in ntop_defines.h is:
    #define NTOP_SVN_REVISION         "$Revision: 6697 $"
    #define NTOP_SVN_REVISION_DATE    "$Date: 2013-08-23 16:30:44 -0400 (Fri, 23 Aug
2013) $"

From basic understanding of GNU autotool, we need to have a ntop_defnes.h.in
<http://ntop_defnes.h.in> and to be included in configure.in
<http://configure.in> file.

I submitted a patch to this mailling a few days ago to insert current svn
revision in the place of 6697.
But my patch need to be tested and corrected.
