It may be a load issue - because it seems to get worse later in
the day.
Though top doesn't look to bad in terms of load average. Is there
a separate thread that writes the .json top_talker files?
Is there feature I can turn off make sure I capture the top talker
information?
Current command to run ntopng below.
sudo ./ntopng -l -s -ieth3 -d/var/tmp -w 3000 -n 0 -m
172.16.0.0/12,10.0.0.0/8,192.168.0.0/16
I just reniced ntopng to a -1 to see if that helps.

model name : Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU D510 @ 1.66GHz
dual core with hyperthreading turned on.
I am currently seeing about (see below) across the link
