Simon (and all of you who still run into trouble with ntop),
if you don't mind could you:

1. capture some data using

tcpdump -s 1518 -w capture.file

(you start tcpdump, then ntop, thwn stop tcpdump when ntop is crashed)

2. Tell me what are the flags you use for starting ntop
3. mail me (not to the list) the capture.file

In this way I hope to be able to reproduce the problem here and fix it
(finally).

Cheers, Luca
