Has anybody used the netflow exporter module with average to high network
load? It seems, that it "misses" some packets, as it exports not as much
data as it should. I compated the exported and the received flow packets
and they are the same. But I noticed that the sequence numbers are missing
some numbers, too:
7524 7526 7528 7530 7532 7534 7536 7538 7539 7540 7541 7542 7543 7544...
("some flows" in the subject mean up to 25% with 140kbit/s avg. on
kernel 2.4.17 and on two Intel Etherexpress100 NICs each)
Is there some buffer that is to small and could be enlarge? Or what about
the idea to put several flows into one packet like the protocol recommends
and at least those cisco routers do (30 flows per packet). Did anybody
implement this in CVS?
