Minor updates to ntop for single threaded mode.
WARNING: This change has undergone very limited testing, as multithreading
mode is the norm and vastly prefered.
(Multithreaded mode is turned off by ./configure --disable-mt
or if `pthread_create' can not be found in libpthread)
