I do my development under RedHat 8, so I absolutely disagree that ntop doesn't run under 8. I build the rpms under 7.3 (UML builder doesn't work for 8 because of a RedHat rpm problem) (besides, it's stable so why muck w/ success).
The deadlock problem (discussed in another message today, in fact) seems to occur more w/ gcc 3.2 than it did w/ 2.9x, but that's a matter of degree. -----Burton ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: Mats Akerberg <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Fri, 13 Dec 2002 13:52:40 +0100 (MET) >Hi! > >I have (as you all know) problem with ntop and RedHat 8. > >Which OS is the best one to run NTOP on? >I have tried Solaris 8 (Problem with compiling) >and Redhat8. > >Regards > /Mats > > > Mats Akerberg ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) > http://www.decus.se/~mats > PGP fingerprint 39 74 49 B0 40 0F 16 CA C1 EE AA 08 55 76 CE 6F > > >_______________________________________________ >Ntop-dev mailing list >[EMAIL PROTECTED] >http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop-dev > ____________________________________________________________ Free 20MB Web Site Hosting and Personalized E-mail Service!
