Modified rrdPlugin as requested; log supplied below
Seems, that the problem only occurs with locally attached client, not with devices on the internet

This implies the adjHostName is empty so that the 2nd, 3rd, etc. time it goes to add to pktSent (e.g. for 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2 etc) it's actually updating the same rrd, hence the error.

I've an ntop installation (3.0 pre) that act as netflow collector . The probe is located on another machine running nprobe .
My localnet is 192.168.0.0/16 , so on the netflow-virtual nic on the netflow plugin i setted up this network address .
Both the ntop collector and nprobe machine have localnet ips .
I have configured the rrd plugin to store rrd datas only for 192.168.0.0/16 . The problem is that ntop can't store all data related to rrd . It gave me the following errors:
Tue Feb 17 16:35:29 2004 **WARNING** RRD: rrd_update(/usr/local/var/ntop/rrd/interfaces/NetFlow-device/hosts //pktSent.rrd) error: illegal attempt to update using time 1077032119 when last update time is 1077032129 (minimum one second step)
It seems that it can't figure out what is the ip address to write on .
On the web gui all seems to work fine, all host are display well .
Could be a bug or my configuration error ?
