Messages from Luca (and possibly from the mailing list) seem to be getting filtered due to (overly pedantic | aggressive spam) filtering.
Basically, a lot of ISPs have turned off what's called the "null reverse-path" that is sometimes used to send/detect bounces, but also can be used to spam. However, some people's mail clients refuse to send if they can't do this. You can test by telnet to the smtp server, sending HELO and then MAIL FROM:<> and see what return code you get. I'm not getting in the middle of this one - read the flame wars on both sides on the web. Anyway, if your stuff isn't getting through, that could be the reason. If so, there's no hope - you'll have to change ISPs or hosting companies... If you don't seem to be getting messages, check the list archives: http://lists.ntop.org/pipermail/ntop/2004-March/thread.html http://lists.ntop.org/pipermail/ntop-dev/2004-March/thread.html Also, I'm in the middle of consolidating my domains, so there may be some interruptions at ntopSupport.com - I'm trying to have this happen seamlessly, but ... For critical issues, you can try sending to me ntop at BurtonStrauss.com if you get bounces from ntopSupport.com. But as always, the list is the preferred vehicle. -----Burton _______________________________________________ Ntop-dev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop-dev
