ntop doesn't have any special provisions ... It's however you specify the interface to libpcap.
Usually if you can see it in ifconfig, you can see it through libpcap. I will say that ntop doesn't like it when an interface it's monitoring gets closed (i.e. hang-up). -----Burton -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of kavita Sent: Wednesday, October 26, 2005 5:12 AM To: [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: [Ntop-dev] Interface question in NTOP Hello thr, I am trying to monitor IP traffic over a dial-up connection to the Internet. Does anyone have answer to the following question. 1. How to specify dialup interface in NTOP? 2. How is dialup interface identified in Linux? Thanks in advance, Regards, Kavita _______________________________________________ Ntop-dev mailing list [email protected] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop-dev _______________________________________________ Ntop-dev mailing list [email protected] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop-dev
