Problem happens (at least once every hour) with this stack trace
(debugged as from the FAQ):

I am running it on a redhat fc6 machine, with -x and -X, on a SPANned ports.
I remember having had ntop up for about 15 days once - and as I remember
(not too well), I was probably running it without -x and -X.
