Will, Deri, Just to confirm, I've also experienced the same problem that Will experienced concerning snap length on pf_ring 3.8.2. Ex. if I start an app with a large snap length (say 1500) then a second app with a small snap length (say 96) then the first app will only see the smaller snap length seen by the second app (96 bytes). From the application's point of view, things work properly if the order is reversed (small snap length app is started first, bip snap length app started next). The /proc bucket length print outs are consistant with what the applications ask for, not what they actually get.
The ability to have per application snap lengths is very valuable. Charles Smutz _______________________________________________ Ntop-dev mailing list [email protected] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop-dev
