Dear all, the URL http://www.ntop.org/ntopPerl.html explains briefly how to dynamically create ntop reports using Perl. The idea is to let non-C developers to extend ntop using Perl. In the near future I want to add additional languages such as Python and perhaps Ruby, this as long as the language allows to be embedded and the license too. This said I don't expect to see PHP embedded into ntop. Inside the ntop/perl directory you will find a simple example (test.pl) as well a more complex example (report.pl) that generates PDF reports out of ntop.
Now it's your turn. Please start using the API and send me whatever you will be able to develop. The ntop community must grow, and the project needs your help.
