I suppose you enter a valid password...
i had problems downloading it but not with password...
i tried
cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/export/home/ntop login
and worked fine. But it's the same thing ...
Have you seen this :

I just installed cvs 1.12.12 in my gentoo linux.
When i use cvs fetch the pf_ring code or the ntop code as the docs say, it
probe the error as following:
localhost ~ # mkdir ntop
localhost ~ # cd ntop
localhost ntop # CVSROOT=:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/export/home/ntop
localhost ntop # cvs login
Logging in to :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:2401/export/home/ntop
CVS password:
localhost ntop # cvs checkout ntop
Fatal error, aborting.
anonymous: no such system user
How to get it, thank you very much!
