Hi there. I'm having problems building nProbe. It would not get
past step 1 because all the tool versions were too old. So I updated
them all from source and am now stuck at the following log. I'm
used to ./configure, make, make install so these tools are all new
to me. I'm willing to tinker a bit to get it going if anyone has
ideas. Maybe I'm not using the latest patched version? Thanks!

Starting nprobe automatic configuration system v0.2.1

Please be patient, there is a lot to do...

1. Testing gnu tools....
    libtool ..... 1.5.26
        .... ok
    automake .... 1.10.1
        .... ok
    autoconf .... 2.62
        .... ok

2. Preparing for libtool ....
You should add the contents of
`/usr/local/libtool1526/aclocal/libtool.m4' to `aclocal.m4'.
    Finding libtool.m4.in
        .... not found - aborting!
        .... done

3. Create acinclude.m4, local definitions for automake ...
cat: libtool.m4.in: No such file or directory
        .... done

4. Running aclocal to create aclocal.m4 ...
acinclude.m4:36: warning: underquoted definition of AC_CHECK_TYPEDEF
acinclude.m4:36: run info '(automake)Extending aclocal'
acinclude.m4:36: or see
http://sources.redhat.com/automake/automake.html#Extending-aclocal
configure.in:65: warning: macro `AM_PROG_LIBTOOL' not found in library
        .... done

5. Running autoheader to create config.h.in ...
        .... done

6. Running automake to create Makefile.in ...
configure.in:73: installing `./install-sh'
configure.in:110: installing `./missing'
plugins/Makefile.am:63: Libtool library used but `LIBTOOL' is undefined
plugins/Makefile.am:63: The usual way to define `LIBTOOL' is to add
`AC_PROG_LIBTOOL'
plugins/Makefile.am:63: to `configure.in' and run `aclocal' and
`autoconf' again.
plugins/Makefile.am:63: If `AC_PROG_LIBTOOL' is in `configure.in', make sure
plugins/Makefile.am:63: its definition is in aclocal's search path.
plugins/Makefile.am: installing `./depcomp'
Makefile.am: installing `./INSTALL'
Makefile.am:80: Libtool library used but `LIBTOOL' is undefined
Makefile.am:80: The usual way to define `LIBTOOL' is to add `AC_PROG_LIBTOOL'
Makefile.am:80: to `configure.in' and run `aclocal' and `autoconf' again.
Makefile.am:80: If `AC_PROG_LIBTOOL' is in `configure.in', make sure
Makefile.am:80: its definition is in aclocal's search path.
Makefile.am:74: compiling `nprobe.c' with per-target flags requires
`AM_PROG_CC_C_O' in `configure.in'
        .... done

7. Running autoconf to create configure ...
configure.in:39: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_PROG_LIBTOOL
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.
configure.in:65: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PROG_LIBTOOL
        .... done

8. Running ./configure ...
I am going to run ./configure with no arguments
if you wish to pass any to it, please specify them on the ./autogen.sh
command line.
