Beyers and Craig- I can test it on a number of servers, but I know it does not fully work on the Dell 2950 III series. My experience has been that the drivers compile, but you will see a message about DCA being disabled in the BIOS. When I enabled TNAPI, I did see multiple queues, but errors are flagged for a reason, so I did not fully trust TNAPI on it.
I took the IOAT DMA/DCA issue up with Dell Support, but they were of no use and the error remains. I attempted to compile the latest IOAT dirvers from Intel, but they did not compile on the OS, so I stopped working on the issue. I have a wide range of Dell server, I run CentOS 5.3 on them. Recently I started investing in SuperMicro-bases systems from Xi Systems. The Xi Systems units are cheaper and work far better with Linux and various Linux based apps. Specifically, I have tested LinuxPPS (PPS/GPS NTP servers), TNAPI, and TPROXY/Squid. I the SuperMicro systems, I run CentOS and Debian. Hope the this info helps.
