I have compiled/installed PF_RING on Fedora 12. When I run more than one
PF_RING-aware program, I get an error (not enough memory for ring). The
program runs, but I assume it does so without using PF_RING. For example,
when I start ntop and then immediately run dumpcap, dmesg shows the following
-

[PF_RING] successfully allocated 34074624 bytes at 0xfa976000
[PF_RING] allocated 4096 slots [slot_len=8318][tot_mem=34074624]
vmap allocation for size 67469312 failed: use vmalloc=<size> to increase
size.
[PF_RING] ERROR: not enough memory for ring
[PF_RING] removed /proc/net/pf_ring/6080.0

I currently have only one interface in the PC (soon to add another), so both
applications are monitoring eth0. Is this the problem? Or is there
something else going on?

Thanks,

- Paul
