This depends a lot in your hardware. As long as all threads share a single 
cache realm, thing should scale almost perfectly

Even if not, they should if processing was really kept local, but i believe a 
lot of inter process reading is involved and if so, performance worsen when you 
have to cross cache realms

in some test cases,I feel that 4 pfcount instances has better
performance than 8.
