I've done it before with same result. That's why I tried to use latest driver from Broadcom site.
When I compiled bnx2 driver I get an error message related with http://listgateway.unipi.it/pipermail/ntop/2011-April/016110.html I copied those dependecies from other driver (bnx2i) in order to avoid those messages. Compilation and loading both drivers (bnx2 and cnic) resulted in no error log but no packet is captured in mode 1 or 2, as I explain on previous mail. Is the bnx2 driver working properly with pf_ring?
