When attempting to modify the interface MTU for an
ixgbe-3.3.9-TNAPI/pf_ring 5.1 I received the following message:
[root@golumn:/proc/net/pf_ring/dev] ifconfig tnapi0 mtu 9000
SIOCSIFMTU: Invalid argument
syslogging:
Oct 15 11:23:02 golumn kernel: [2841049.206206] [TNAPI] MTU resize is
not YET supported on TNAPI (TODO)
- From ixgbe-3.3.9-TNAPI/src/ixgbe_main.c it is clear where the message
is coming from and why, but I am wondering if there is anything to be
done which would allow the tnapi0 interface to be pinned at MTU=9000?
The card is an Intel 82599 - additional info is:
[root@golumn:/proc/net/pf_ring/dev] cat tnapi0/info
