No Tnapi. Actually I'm running it on a plain old Linux machine (2.6.x) on a
VmWare Server 2.0.

Subject: [Ntop-misc] How do reduce CPU utlization with PFRing.

All,

I have pfring version 4.7.0 installed (transparent_mode=1 quick_mode=1)
and I'm running pfcount with default options on a Intel Dual Core 1.866
GHz 4GB RAM platform.
I'm sending around 40,000 packets of size 64 bytes. I see that the CPU
is varying anywhere from 9% to 44% as seen with TOP.

Are there any ways we can reduce CPU utilization with PFRING?

Thanks,
Chris
