I have checked ready is not there. Let me explain further
actually I first used the svn method to install but it keep failing. So then I
revert to 4.6.0 version and below are the steps I used to install my PF_RING.
1.Under normal user I download it and tar -zxvf PF_RING-4.6.0.tgz
2.I run make the command still in normal user
3.I login as root then go to ther kernel folder I run make install
4.As root I go to the lib folder and also run the make install.
So these are the steps I run any more missing steps? Thank you.

By default it is installed in /usr/local/lib/ and I don't know if it is added
into your ld.so.conf file
