Hello, I have a problem using tcpdump filters with pf_ring enabled libpcap. If I run tcpdump without a filter it works OK, however once a filter is used no packets are captured.
PF_RING version 5.4.6 ( Rev 5684 ) Driver: ixgbe Version: 3.7.17-NAPI This problem exists with tcpdump-4.3.0 as well as the tcpdump-4.1.1 bundled with pf_ring. I read the UserGuide and saw section 8.10.3 mention BPF filtering can be enabled with --enable-bpf, which should be the default setting; reconfiguring with this flag set did not help.
