Sorry if this has been asked before (I did try searching the archive with
google and site:listgateway.unipi.it)

If I have four NICs in a machine (in this case all intel 82571EBs) can I use
DNA on some of them and PF_RING on others and (although I don't see a reason
to) the regular e1000e kernel driver on yet others ?

The card seems to choose the driver through a tangled web of udev/sysfs/driver
OUI interactivity. How can I pick which NIC gets which driver ? I want to use
one NIC for management and the others for packet capture, I did not want DNA on
the management NIC. I have found a way to make them all use DNA or all use
PF_RING, but I can't control them individually.

By the way, I'm using 64-bit Gentoo on x86 with kernel 2.6.34, so I suppose
it's all my own fault. I bet Red hat would have just guessed what I wanted and
done it already.

Many thanks...
