Hi Robert
you can either set the flush_packet flag to instantly send the packet or call 
pfring_flush_tx_packets() when you want to flush the egress queue.

int pfring_send(pfring *ring, char *pkt, u_int pkt_len, u_int8_t flush_packet) 
int pfring_flush_tx_packets(pfring *ring)
