I'm looking for some guidance on startup initialization of pf_ring with the ixgbe dna driver on a Debian Wheezy platform.
Are folks using /etc/modprobe.d or approaching this from /etc/network/if-pre-up.d? So far in /etc/modprobe.d, this doesn't seem to have worked after reboot. I would up with eth2 eth3 instead of dna0 dna1: /etc/modprobe.d/pf_ring.conf options pf_ring transparent_mode=2 enable_tx_capture=0 min_num_slots=32768 /etc/modprobe.d/ixgbe.conf softdep ixgbe pre: pf_ring Any suggestions from a working pf_ring/Suricata or pf_ring/Snort environment are welcomed.
