In standard mode you do not need a license.

That's a good question and thanks for bringing it up. After reading the PF_RING
documentation (v6.0), I assumed it requires a license as stated that zc is a
successor of Libzero/DNA, which to my understanding require a license.
Acquiring a license is a battle I already lost :).
But if zc does not require a license then that's the way to go. Can you confirm
that please?

Why you are using the non-zc driver? You can use the zc driver also in standard
mode.

Thanks for getting back at me. I pulled the svn twice today and the drivers
directory (non-zc) contained only the igb-5.1.2 (I did check multiple times to
make sure I'm missing something). I do not have access to the box right now as
it is still getting built, otherwise I would have pasted the ls output.
Thanks againYM

It seems that the igb-5.1.2 driver for Intel I350 is broken and does not
compile with a known bug, at least on Debian/Ubuntu (Server):
http://sourceforge.net/p/e1000/bugs/396/. All of o the other resources point to
the same bug report. Other drivers compile okay. There seems to be a newer
version of the driver igb-5.2.5 which seem to fix the problem.
This is for PF_RING from svn, PF_RING Version 6.0.2 ($Revision: 7784$). Is
there a workaround for this that anybody is aware of? Or would compiling the
igb-5.2.5 driver separately work PF_RING?
Thanks in advance.YM_______________________________________________
