Thank you Yuri for your reply,

We are currently using Fedora Core 20. We have created ntop.repo with the
bellow content and added the entries related to epel.repo in fedora.repo now
when we run the yum update we get

Could not parse metalink
https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=epel-X&arch=x86_64 error was No
repomd file

We even tried Yum localinstall
http://www.nmon.net/centos/7/x86_64/Packages/n2disk-2.3.141008-4429.x86_64.rpm
with no luck

/etc/yum.repos.d/ntop.repo

baseurl=http://www.nmon.net/centos-stable/7/$basearch/
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=http://www.nmon.net/centos/RPM-GPG-KEY-deri
[root@ntopng yum.repos.d]#

/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora.repo
[epel]
name=Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux X - $basearch

Farah,
we provide precompiled packages for latest Centos and Ubuntu
It seems to me you are using a Centos like distro, hence please try using the
packages (and the instruction) available here.

Hello,

I would like to use N2Disk as a reporting tool, below is the process I'm
following to install n2disk:

Installing N2Disk:
I 've been trying to install n2disk as rpm package, but I was getting an error.
I need to install pfring 6.0.3:

[root@ntopng ~]# rpm -ivh
http://www.nmon.net/packa<http://www.nmon.net/packages/rpm7/x86_64/n2disk/n2disk-2.3.141008-4429.x86_64.rpm>ges/rpm7/x86_64/n2disk/n2disk-2.3.141008-4429.x86_64.rpm<http://www.nmon.net/packages/rpm7/x86_64/n2disk/n2disk-2.3.141008-4429.x86_64.rpm>

error: Failed dependencies:
        pfring = 6.0.3-8418 is needed by n2disk-2.3.141008-4429.x86_64
 Installing PF_ring:
 I have then tried to install pfring as rpm package, but again I got a failed
dependency. I need to install Kernel 3.10.0.
[root@ntopng ~]# rpm

So, the problem is in Kernel 3.10 that I need to install when I already have
kernel 3.16.2. Does anybody have any suggestions for this problem?

Thank you.

Farah Braiteh
