Hi Pavel i40e-based cards available today are too weak to keep up with 56Mpps, this is due to 1. the poor buffering (ring size) available in X710 and 2. the way Intel cards work (packet-by-packet) which does not optimise bus utilisation. You can improve 1. by using multiple RSS queues, but you should run some test yourself to check performance because they can change significantly according to your hardware.
