We have an apple xserve in our lab which runs nprobe and PF_ring. We are planning to have a 10G NIC installed on it. I just wanted to know if you have any particular suggestions for us to choose the 10G NIC. Referring to your paper titled "Exploiting commodity Multicore Systems for Network Traffic Analysis" i came to know that intel has developed a 10g NIC that PF_RING makes use of. In my reserach about the cards from intel i came across the following three 10G NIC's: 1 . Intel 82598EB 10G 2. Intel 82599EB 10G 3.
