Check out globals-defines.h for a setting about inverting the MAC addy for some 
hash size reduction. Maybe undef that and recompile and see if it helps.  In 
the mean time I'm heading to lunch - or supper or whatever!

Would it help if I ran with VENDOR_DEBUG enabled in vendor.c ?
It might help to narrow the search a little.
