through netflow export
Ok, It means It's enough I configure a port in span (mirror) to the ntop server, without using probe, well. I'll try it. But there
is a big limitation. I could use different nProbe (o cisco devices) to create flows (v9) instead to redirect all the traffic on a
single server. I've calculated more or less a ratio of 560:1 between real traffic and relative created flows. On different BIG
interfaces it's a problem :)
3. Ntop supports some (but not all) of the custom template tags sent by the
probe. As pf today the best solution for voip monitoring using nprobe is to let
it dump flows on a db and perform SQL queries on it
This could help to solve the previous point.
Is there any document describing this solution in deep? nProbe saves this to an SQL db. To query it, do I use ntop or another
software?
