Thanks for your input Gary. I did try tweaking the host and session timeout defaults in globals-defines.h, but to no avail. It agree that it would be great to have the session tracking feature available.

I have searched the web and the mailing list archives, but I have not been able to find answers to the following questions/issues: 1) The dnsCache.db and addressCache.db files seem to be entirely absent from the 4.x versions. Have they been eliminated? 2) With a large load (average of 20,000+ hosts), ntop 4.x repeatedly dies with a “segfault” when session tracking is enabled. Running with “–z” eliminates the problem. Is there a recommended fix for this issue?
