first time here, all newbe considerations apply :)
Context: we have a lan 2 lan link working on l2 that we want to shut.
Most traffic is being routed to other links, but we want to identify
what's left before killing the link.
We have traffic graphs (MRTG) and indentified some spikes. Link ends
land in 3750s, so netflow is out, and I thought of nprobe.
But then ntop seems a better fit. I have it running and can see the
spikes (good) but the top talkers of the corresponding hour slot in the
24 hours top talkers do not show anything. What can be it ?
Ideas about how to deal with this are welcome too.
