I just installed today's (4-1-2013) daily from the APT repo and got it working after installing a few dependencies by hand.
I did an initial config to receive netflows from my ASA 5510, and it worked straight away. Since then though, I restarted ntop because I needed to resolve some directory permission problems with the rrd directories, and the netflow receipt seems to have stopped working. The stats on the plugin show that it has received and processed over 1000 packets, but none of them contained valid flows. In case I made a mistake while correcting the permissions issues, I purged the package and manually deleted any leftover directories I was aware of in an attempt to cleanly start over. I've now re-installed, and am getting the same behavior. Any guidance in troubleshooting this issue would be greatly appreciated. QH
