Hi Luca,

Does this mean the nprobe is the listener and ntopng connects to the probe?
This seem backwards to me.
Also can ntopng capture on an interface at the same time capture from nprobe,
like the old NTOP?
Also will ntopng be able to accept netflows from other probes besides npobe,
like yaf?

Regards,
Steve

I install nprobe and ntopng according to the officical instruction.
os: centos 6.5 x86_64

here we go
# nprobe --zmq tcp://*:5666 -i eth0 -n none

You need a quote "tcp://*:5666" otherwise the shell expands the *. Please read
the warnings reported by the app

Luca

# ntopng -i tcp://127.0.0.1:5666 <http://127.0.0.1:5666/>

    Hi darkblue,

Would you mind sharing the command line options of your ntopng and nprobe
setup ? I'm new to nprobe and I can't make it work .

    Thanks,

    /Wayne
