We aren't installing software not included in repositories. At this
moment I neither see ntopng in Debian's stable main channel, nor
contrib, nor backports, nor testing/jessie future version.

I understand that ntopng is the main (or single) focus of development
and attention, but we cannot extend more on installation&configuration
procedures and package testing.

PD: Removal of /var/lib/ntop/prefsCache.db worked well to reset web
interface configuration.
