Seems that link on how to report a bug on ntop is really outdated.
Take a look to it. I have searched on my Makefile, from an autogen.sh
and I dont have -O2 or -Os flags anywhere in the Makefile.
In the second step, the core file, there is no more .libs directory
(that was ntop, not ntopng)
Im updating to last svn revision and checking if my ntopng keep
"crashing" without any log/backtrace.
If it does, I'll give you again access to my server so you can check
what the f.... is happening :P

I've the same issue with the same error message in dmesg.
I've run ntopng in debug mode with gdb and this is the output:
