Hi Tom,

in order to running ntopng on OSX, you have to install the following 
dependencies via Homebrew or MacPorts :

autoconf automake pkg-config libtool wget json-glib json-c gnutls geoip sqlite 
rrdtool redis glib zeromq

then download the svn code and compile it as describe here: 

https://svn.ntop.org/svn/ntop/trunk/ntopng/doc/UserGuide.pdf
