Hi,

I’v been trying to get user authentication working on NTOPNG. However, even
using the default of admin/admin on a fresh install I cannot get it to work.
(of course, it works just fine if I add “-l” to the configuration).

I’m running ntopng on Centos 6.5 using the rpm packages from rpm.ntop.org
installed via yum.

Here is what I get from ntopng:

09/Aug/2014 14:16:23 [HTTPserver.cpp:214] [HTTP] Set session
sessions.724e3820ca5f317906df81bad926f771
09/Aug/2014 14:16:23 [HTTPserver.cpp:125] [HTTP] Session 1539c51ef1c708/admin
is expired or empty user
09/Aug/2014 14:16:23 [HTTPserver.cpp:148] [HTTP]
redirect_to_login(1539c51ef1c708)
09/Aug/2014 14:16:23 [HTTPserver.cpp:275] [HTTP] /login.html

and here is my configuration:

-G=/var/tmp/ntopng.pid
--httpdocs-dir /usr/share/ntopng/httpdocs/
-W 4202
-m 10.0.0.0/8,192.168.0.0/16
-U ntop
-v

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Walter Brock
