actually local hosts seem to work if ntopng is used with a single
network interface only.
Then the local IP's look like 192.168.56.10 and if there's a
corresponding entry in /etc/hosts it's apparently used.
if ntopng is used with multiple network interfaces, the local IPs look
like 192.168.56.10@0 which obviously can't be translated to real host names.
So my question should rather be if ntopng should also translate
something like 192.168.56.10@0 to a local host name.

Hi,
in ntopng's dashboard in the "top flow talkers" local hosts are
displayed with their real host names (if defined in /etc/hosts for
example).
I all other views real host names seem not to be displayed, even for
local hosts and even if they are defined in /etc/hosts.
Is there any means to get host names for local hosts in other pages as
in "Flows" or "Hosts"?
